Airfoil Blade

The TOR-550 tornado suppression damper is designed for protection against negative pressure events during tornado conditions. This model is configured for either intake or exhaust installations.

Standard Construction

Frame: 12" x 3" x 13" (305 x 76 x 6) steel channel 

Blades: 16 ga. (1.5) galvanized double skin airfoil.

Blade Seals: Silicone.

Axles: 3/4" (19) solid steel.

Linkage: 3/16" (5) thick x 3/4" (19) wide steel bars.

Bearings: Relubricatable ball baring bolted to frame.

Finish: Galvanized blades, gray hi-pro poly pwder coat frame.

Minimum Size: 12" x 12" (305 x 305)

Maximum Size:
Single Section: 48" x 60" (1219 x 1524)
