Industrial Fiberglass Control Damper
Airfoil Blade
The FRP-91 fiberglass damper is used in applications where corrosive air exists for exhaust, air supply or pressure relief. It employs fiberglass airfoil blades, a rugged flanged frame, and options for ultra-low leakage in high pressure applications. The FRP-91 is ideal for high performance air intake and discharge applications.
Frame: 8" x 2-3/16" x 1/4" (203 x 56 x 6) vinyl ester resin.
Blades: Vinyl ester resin, airfoil 6-5/8" x 1/4" thick (168 x 16). Parallel action.
Axles: 3/4" (19) diameter fiberglass rod.
Linkage: 3/16" x 3/4" (5 x 19) stainless steel tie bars and 3/8" (10) stainless steel pins concealed in frame.
Bearings: Molded PTFE.
Control Shaft: 3/4" (19) stainless steel round drive shaft.
Minimum Size: 6" x 8" (152 x 203)
Maximum Size:
Single section: 48" x 72" (1219 x 1829)
Multisection: Unlimited
Leakage with low leakage seals:
7.02 cfm/ft2 @ 1 in. wg. (0.033 m3/s/m2 @ 0.25 kPa)
16.5 cfm/ft2 @ 4 in. wg. (0.077 m3/s/m2 @ 1.0 kPa)
19.3 cfm/ft2 @ 5 in. wg. (0.091 m3/s/m2 @ 1.5 kPa)
Maximum Temperature: -20oF to 200oF (-28oC to 94oC)
