Double-Ribbed Bar Grille

Security grilles reduce unwanted access to ductwork in spaces where supervision is minimal and vandalism or misuse is a risk. They provide additional security in openings between secure and non-secure areas, and should be placed in every opening through a secure wall. Ideal for maximum security applications, security bar grilles feature all-welded construction and are mounted to the wall using a welded frame with optional mounting flanges.

The Double-Ribbed Bar Grille is designed to prevent bar rotation.

Standard Construction

Maximum opening between barrier bars: 5" x 12" (127 x 304)

Sleeve: 1/4" x 4" (6 x 102) hot rolled steel flat bar frame.

Barrier Bars: 7/8" (25) diameter 1065 grade steel double-ribbed bars inserted in 3" (76) square plates welded to the sleeve are designed to prevent rotation.

Finish: Standard white.

Minimum SIze: 6" x 6" (152 x 152)

Maximum Size: 30" x 30" (762 x 762)

Dual-side 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/16" (38 x 38 x 5) mounting angles (1 set mounted, 1 set loose, requires 10" minimum sleeve)
